Do You Know What it Really Means to "Reject" the Messiah?

Many Christians think that they know the Messiah, but they are actually in total denial and rejection of who He is as well as the message He came to bring, even though they genuinely believe they are “following Him.” This is how deep the deception is. I pray that this plants some seeds... Most Christians today believe in a totally false version of their Messiah. And the delusion is so strong that many will not be able to fathom or comprehend what I’m about to say. Most believe that rejecting the Messiah means rejecting His existence, or denying His death, burial and resurrection. But Scripture gives us some serious depth to what it really means to reject Him. This is not my opinion—it’s all in Scripture.

Let’s look at John 12:48-50.

“He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that His commandment is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”

Let’s also look at John 8:28-29.

“...I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things. And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.”

If He only spoke the Father’s words and He always did what “pleases Him,” then...did His Father tell Him to teach that the commandments are done away with and that we have no need to obey them anymore?

We must be very honest with ourselves and sit with these verses and really evaluate what we have been taught to understand and believe about the ministry and testimony of our Messiah.

It is written, that He spoke whatever the Father told Him to speak.

“He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.”

We will be judged by THE WORD.

Messiah was THE WORD that dwelt among us (John 1:14).

Messiah is THE WORD of Yahuah (Revelation 19:13).

To the humbled heart, it cannot be any clearer if we allow Scripture to speak for itself. If you reject His words, which are actually His Father’s words (as He clearly said), you are rejecting the true Messiah whether you want to believe it or not. This is the reality that Christianity must come to terms with.

To reject the torah is to reject the Messiah.

A lot of people think what I’m saying is blasphemous because they’ve been bottle-fed their whole life, and the milk that they nourished themselves with was actually diluted with the wine of Babylon, putting them to spiritual slumber.

If you believe that He came to do away with the commandments, you are denying and rejecting WHO HE IS.

“You err because you do not know the Scriptures.”
Matthew 22:29

Seriously think about this: what “Scriptures” was He talking about? Yahusha was speaking to people and He was right in front of their face! Yet they couldn’t see Him—they didn’t know who He was because they “did not know the Scriptures.”

“Therefore I was angry with that generation, and said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, and they have not known My ways.’ So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’”
Hebrews 3:10-11

“They have not known MY WAYS.”

The author of Hebrews was quoting from Psalms 95:10-11 by the way.

What “ways” is Scripture talking about?

This is a New Testament verse talking about what was written in the front of the Book.

“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”
James 1:22

What “word” was James referring to? What “word” was he telling us to “do?”

“And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.”
John 1:14

What “Word” is John referring to?

“And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures.”
Acts 17:2

What “Scriptures” was Paul using to reason with the people?

You don’t need discernment to understand the “Word/Scriptures” that those passages are referring to. The spirit of pride will not let common sense reason with the truth, which is why many people still won’t see it. This breaks my heart.

I cannot tip toe around hard truths. I cannot refrain from the roar I constantly feel in my chest and the burning I have in my heart to share the Father’s Word, because the body is not being taught the truth in these denominational churches. They are not teaching people to know the Messiah-they are teaching people to reject Him. They are not teaching people how to be in covenant with Yahuah—they are keeping people OUT of covenant. And it is not up to your pastor, or anyone for that matter, to bring you into truth. You have only one Teacher, who promises to counsel you, advocate for you, and bring you into all truth. That is, if you really want it.

I am not capable of bringing understanding to anyone. Thankfully, that’s not my job. That’s Yahuah’s job. All I can do is faithfully and diligently steward His word, plant seeds and sound the trumpet. Many Christians do not like the things I share because it is exposing the areas in which they’ve been deceived. I’m sharing these things out loud because I love my brothers and sisters, whether you hate what I’m saying or love it. This has to be called out because the Father is crying out for us to be reconciled to Him. He is pleading through His children.

I love the church. Please don’t think that my heart doesn’t break over the things I share. I sow these words in tears because Yahuah’s sheep are being led astray. His grace and His hand is still extended. Please seek Him now. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you and pray for Him to convict you and stir you, to show you His heart and bring you wisdom. That’s the only way we are going to learn the truth and come out of the lies.

With love,

Stephanie
